The terms that apply when you visit and use the NumaPet marketing website.

These terms govern use of the public NumaPet website. They do not govern a subscription to the NumaPet software platform, which will be covered by separate written terms agreed with the customer.

1. About us and these terms

This website is operated by NumaPet, a UK-based software business. In these terms, “NumaPet”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of this website.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from the “Last updated” date above. Please check this page when you return to the website.

2. Accessing the website

We provide the website free of charge. We may change, suspend, withdraw or restrict any part of it for operational, security or business reasons. We do not guarantee that the website or any content will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

You are responsible for arranging access to the website and for ensuring that anyone who accesses it through your connection understands and follows these terms.

3. Website information, demonstrations and pricing

Content on this website is provided for general information about NumaPet. It is not professional advice, a binding offer or a guarantee that a particular feature, integration or service will be available or suitable for your business. You should obtain appropriate professional advice before relying on the website for legal, financial, accounting, tax, regulatory or animal-care decisions.

Sending a demo request does not create a contract or oblige either party to proceed. Product scope, onboarding, service levels, data-processing terms, payment terms and any other commercial commitments will be set out separately in writing if you choose to become a customer.

Unless stated otherwise, prices are in pounds sterling, exclude VAT and may change. Any annual equivalent is based on the discount displayed at the time. We may correct pricing or content errors and will confirm the price that applies before a binding order is accepted.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the website in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or infringes another person’s rights;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server, connected systems or non-public areas;
  • introduce malware, malicious code or material designed to disrupt, damage or compromise a system;
  • probe, scan, test or circumvent security or authentication measures without our written permission;
  • overload the website or use automated tools to scrape content, submit forms or make excessive requests;
  • impersonate another person or submit information that is false, misleading, confidential or unlawful; or
  • use website content to develop, train or improve a competing product or service without our written permission.

We may block or suspend access, preserve relevant evidence and report activity to an appropriate authority if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

5. Information you submit

You are responsible for information you submit through the website. You confirm that you have the right to provide it, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it does not contain unlawful, infringing or malicious material. Please do not submit confidential, special-category or third-party personal information through the demo form.

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The website, its design, software, text, graphics, product visuals, trade marks and other content are owned by or licensed to NumaPet and are protected by intellectual-property laws. All rights are reserved.

You may view the website and print or download reasonable extracts for your own internal, non-commercial evaluation of NumaPet. You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, remove ownership notices from, or commercially exploit any part of the website without our prior written permission. “NumaPet” and its logos may not be used without permission.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. We do not control or endorse those sites and are not responsible for their availability, content, security or privacy practices. Their own terms and policies apply.

You may link fairly and lawfully to our home page without suggesting an association, approval or endorsement that does not exist. You must not frame the website or link from a website containing unlawful or harmful material. We may withdraw linking permission at any time.

8. Security and viruses

We take reasonable steps to operate a secure website but cannot guarantee that it will be free from bugs, vulnerabilities or harmful code. You are responsible for using suitable device, browser, network and security protection. If you discover a suspected vulnerability, please report it privately to hello@numapet.co.uk and do not exploit it.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you use the website for business purposes, to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or reputation; business interruption; or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the website or linked content.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses, and nothing in these terms affects your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Law and disputes

These terms do not restrict any mandatory rights you have under applicable law. If you use the website as a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts that have jurisdiction where you live. If you use the website for business purposes, disputes will be subject to the courts with jurisdiction where NumaPet is established, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

11. General

If a court finds part of these terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. These terms do not give enforcement rights to anyone other than you and NumaPet. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent.
